After Tito Ortiz’s fighter Jamie Yeager quits against Chuck Liddell’s Josh Bryant, Dana White calls him aside for a private meeting.
Explaining that he has arranged a doctor appointment for him in California, Dana White the tells Tito Ortiz he’s done coaching.
Appearing confused, Tito asks why. White simply states that he’s never had a coach pull out of a fight before. After Ortiz leaves, White explains that Tito should have never come on the show had he not been 100%.
It seems only symbolic that in his fight, Jamie Yeager, also quit by failing to answering the bell in the third round against Josh Bryant. So, it appears Tito picked the right guy for his team–someone that would quit just like he did.
A different scream before each attack. The Vitor Belfort I saw at Xtreme Couture Mixed Martial Arts was different from the one I’ve followed since he was 15 years old.
I dont know whether to feel sorry for Tito or cheer for him in his back recovery…
