Fight Football League-Move Over UFC And NFL-Welcome To MMA Meets Football (Video)
Breaking News-Fight Football League-Move over UFC and NFL-welcome to MMA meets football. The new Fight Football League, also known as FFL, is basically a combination of football and mixed martial arts.
Fight football gets its roots from an ancient Roman sport called Harpastum which was a way for gladiators to train for battle. Modern rugby and soccer also have many elements of Harpastum in them. Some rules include only allowing players to fight one on one, not being bale to hit a man when he is down, and not being able to punch an opponent from behind or when they are advancing the ball.
So what do you think of the Fight Football League? Is this just an out of control rugby game trying to piggyback on the success of organizations like the UFC, or does this type of sport have real potential? Please leave your comments below.

That’s hilarious. I think they are trying to ride on the coat tails of mma…this sport will never make it. Think of the injury list…
yea and theres no injury list in MMA! lol
this sport will blow it self outta the water. MMA will be done for.
Watch Calcio Storico, has been going since 1500. How long has MMA been about, how long has football or Rugby been about??? The only people that will have problems with this sport will be the ones that dont understand the nature of the it or live on health and safty. Its true back to the old days Gladiators. Not highly paid show offs that worry about there hair. If you want to put it in scale then it will insert itself somewhere like this: Football (over paid hair loving injury worring panzies) Rugby (rules) American Football (rules) Fight Football (Gladiators) then MMA/UFC (True gadiators). We are animals at the end of it all and the Male ego and nature is to fight and defend. It goes back to cave men and if constantly controlled will only be released in other more destructive forms. Anything that can release this in a safe, controlled manor is good and will be good for all that enjoy and enter the sport.
